Pets

Pets. That one word equals so many different job descriptions.

Unconditional lovers ~ just the sight of us excites them and instantly warms our hearts.

Trainers ~ our pets make us move. Whether it’s just getting up to feed them or taking them for a walk ~ and yes you can walk a cat.

Therapist ~ we can tell them anything because they can keep a secret. Just talking to them or petting them we begin to feel better.

Entertainment ~ who needs TV when you have a pet.

Laughter ~ pets can make us laugh and laughter is healthy for us.

Meet a few of our pets:

Chaplin the cat. She was named after Charlie Chaplin (silent movies) because she didn't meow. Chaplin preferred meat to fish, loved to play fetch and could detect a rainstorm 15 minutes away.

Humpin' Harpo the bird. He had a toe fetish, need I say more.

Sadee SweetPea the dog. She loved ALL water so, don't leave the shower door cracked open, unless you want company. The breeding of Sadee, 2 pups ~ DruPea & Pyrate is another story.

Monty Python the bird, just don't tell her that. She plays with cat balls that have bells in them. Throws them off the top of her 3 story bird cage, climbs down her ladder and chases the balls around the floor. Did I mention she likes wine.

While our pets have a tough job keeping us sane during insane times, remember this in mind... we may be laughing at our pets, but our pets may be laughing as well. Yes, pets can laugh so we may not be the ones having the last laugh.
