Unconsciously Superstitious
Halloween is the time of year when even those of us who are superstitious may become a bit superstitious. We all know about, walking under a ladder, the number thirteen and of course those poor black cats. Me, I'm a subconscious believer in superstitions. Let's say we are walking down the sidewalk and we come to a pole ~ I will walk on the same side of the pole as you, so I don't cause a split in our friendship👭 It's said that stepping on a spider brings rain ~ if so, areas experiencing dry spells would have rain but not many spiders. 😊 Some superstitions are a bit of an oxymoron... How 'bout the 'lucky' rabbit's foot ~ obviously the rabbit wasn't so 'lucky'. Or that stepping in dog poop with your left foot is good luck ~ really, cause I got a yard full of good luck just waiting to be stepped in 🐕 As long as we're on the subject of poop, if having a bird poop on you is considered good luck ~ then my hubby is the luckiest man I know because our little bird Monty poops on him all the time 😊
