I am thankful

 I am thankful ~ grateful for...

A roof over my head and a warm home, plenty of drinkable water, indoor plumbing, a shower, I don't have to go hungry and the smell of food cooking.

The kindness of people I have never met before. If I smile, they’ll smile and  even if they don’t I can look into their eyes and see a smile. 😊

My family ~ parents and brother are together in Heaven. My memories and pictures of them.

My extended family ~ as FUNctional or dysFUNctional as we may be, at the end of the day we still love each other.

My friends ~ The love, support and kindness. Happy hour phone chats. At times our friends may seem closer to us than family.

Having a cocktail with my hubby, conversing, laughing or ignoring him  all at the same time 😊 💑
